Save on high fuel prices

Saving on gas and fuel prices is easier than you might think. Just think of how much easier it would be to pay for gas when you know your getting as much out of your gas mileage as possible. It is actually easier than you think and it becomes automatic after you are used to saving some cash:

Drive only when you need to

This is the most important update that you need to know. Driving only when you need to will allow you consume less no matter what car you drive. A very important tip that many people don't think about.

Don't keep your foot on the gas pedal

We are all very busy and want to hurry to wherever we are going, besides the fact that we should slow down sometimes and just relax. Think of it this way, the more you have your foot on the gas the more gas you consume (Duh!), but it is a simple thing that we don't think about.

Think of the quickest route to wherever you're going

Another duh can be heard, but it's not that hard. Sometimes we go the wrong way or don't look into other routes because the way we go just seems to be habit.

See if you can change your work schedule to avoid heavy traffic times

Most employers would be more than happy to help accommodate you with this.

Saving on gas is simpler than you might think. Just focus on what you are doing. It doesn't have to be difficult to save those few extra dollars, so long as you think far in advance and just be cautious about what you are doing.
