How to Cut Back on your Credit Card

I spent too much money this last weekend. To be honest it was very difficult to spend as much as I did. I didn't want to but the money, but it makes it really easy to spend money especially when you use a credit card. It was a bad thing for me and I really, honestly didn't mean to spend as much as I did.

From now on there are a few things that I am going to do to limit myself on spending:

  • Leave the credit card at home
This is very important! I have a problem with racking up some credit and spending more than I should. Credit cards just happen to harbor tendencies to swipe the card and several days later you realize that you can't afford it.
  • Think before you act
It is important to remember how much money you have allotted to spend. Write it down if you have to. This may help remind you how much you can or will spend. Consumer credit right now is a big problem.
  • Don't spend more than you can comfortably pay back
It is important to make sure that the money you spend is something that you can comfortably payback during payday. Otherwise you may find yourself in over your head in no time. This only breeds the worst of problems.
